Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dermatology APP Liaison to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating demand, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external office staff to improve patient outcomes, and applying a peer selling approach in a branded and unbranded facet.
Key Responsibilities- Report to a Regional Lead and work with a team of peers and other matrix counterparts to deliver on goal expectations, provide strong Dermatology presence and education, ensure flawless execution, and build a winning culture.
- Generate demand for the national target base of Dermatology NPs and PAs.
- Conduct face-to-face calls on target lists of NPPA influencers within specific markets (unbranded and branded).
- Organize and staff national and regional congresses, as well as local and regional societies and other miscellaneous opportunities.
- Support the needs of APPs in attendance at congresses.
- Gather insights and meet the needs of the APP Dermatology community.
- Collaborate with a dynamic matrix team to address customer needs and ensure the delivery of value to customers.
- Work with other field associates to ensure a one-team approach in Dermatology offices.
- Adhere to and showcase BMS core values and principles, practicing and implementing the strongest integrity principles.
- Input on opportunities with a solution-focused mindset of driving innovation.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute the national sales and brand strategy in accordance with BMS policies.
- Interpret and integrate data to develop communication strategies to drive performance and execution within the role.
- Develop, review, and modify territory-level business plans to ensure alignment with national plans.
- Develop, maintain, and grow customer touchpoints.
- Innovate and identify new ways to build brand equity to exceed short- and long-term goals, ensuring all legal and compliance regulations are adhered to.
- Serve as a role model for Compliance and hold each member of the team accountable for Compliance by ensuring all practices within the team are compliant with the BMS Compliance Code of Conduct, PhRMA Code, OIG Guidelines, PDMA Policies and Procedures, and all other applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of in-practice NP/PA experience in the injectable or biologic arena. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required, as well as past or current Physician Assistant (PA)/Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including some weekend conferences, is also required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace and governing rules and laws, as well as a strong understanding of commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in the geography. Immunology experience, particularly in Dermatology, Rheumatology, or Gastroenterology, is also preferred.
