We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspector to join our Construction Services group at NV5. As a Senior Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the administration and inspection of transportation projects, including roadway and bridge construction, to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of contractor operations and events affecting the work, monitor and inspect contractor work zone temporary traffic control plans, and review modifications to the plan.
- Record quantities of materials received or used during specified periods and perform sampling and testing of materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract.
- Oversee activities, inspections, reports, and documentation performed by CEI Inspectors and assist the Project Oversight/Project Administrator.
- Provide mentorship and support to less experienced team members while serving as lead inspector on multi-inspector projects.
- Responsible for timely communication of events of note and general progress directly to Project Oversight/Project Administrator.
- High School Diploma
- 4 years of experience in construction inspection
- Must pass mandatory DMV check
- FDOT experience preferred
- CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
- CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges)
- CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
