Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide nursing care and services, including nurse delegation, resident health assessments, and monitoring of overall health.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, outside providers, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Investigate injuries involving residents or staff, and track and audit medication and treatment orders.
- Participate in service planning, care conferences, and quality assurance investigations to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in in-service presentations and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and other team members to foster a positive team attitude and promote a culture of excellence in care.
- Degree in Nursing and current state license.
- Understanding of state and federal regulations, including OSBN guidelines.
- Good computer skills and ability to lift, push, or pull 30 pounds, up to 30 times per shift.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach, with a commitment to safe practices and infection control.
- Strong communication skills and congenial personality, with a passion for caring for vulnerable populations.
