Job Summary:

Your primary duties will include managing office telephone systems, scheduling patient appointments, documenting patients' medical information, and performing data entry tasks. You will also be responsible for coordinating activities, greeting patients, and checking patients in/out for their visits. Additionally, you will be required to take vital signs, document physicians' notes, and provide compassionate patient support and care.

Responsibilities:

Manage office telephone systems, including answering calls and returning messages

Schedule patient appointments and maintain communication to confirm future appointments

Document patients' medical information, including medical history and health insurance information

Perform data entry tasks to document patient records within facility databases and maintain patient files

Coordinate activities, greet patients, and check patients in/out for their visits

Take vital signs, document physicians' notes, and provide compassionate patient support and care

Requirements:

Professional certifications/credentials from accredited training program

Preferred two years of experience working in a medical or healthcare setting

CMA License (Medical Assistant) (Required)

BLS & CPR Certification

Computer proficiency

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willing to travel, if necessary

Willing to work overtime, if necessary

Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Team work skills

Valid Driver's License
