Chief Executive Officer Job Description

The Chief Executive Officer at St. Camillus is responsible for leading and directing the organization's overall business operations and development. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and vision to ensure the organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan
  • Provide leadership and management to achieve operational excellence
  • Ensure the organization has the necessary operational controls, administrative procedures, and human talent to effectively and efficiently grow
  • Report to the Board of Directors and Provincial Delegate of The Order of St. Camillus

Candidate Profile:

  • The successful candidate possesses a passion for the Mission and a thorough knowledge of the Roman Catholic faith and teachings.
  • They have a proven record of strategy creation and execution, revenue growth, and change management.
  • Experience in executive-level leadership roles in senior living settings, including strong knowledge of regulations governing operations of life plan communities, is required.
  • The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of non-profit accounting, ability to train and guide the executive team on financial accountability and financial strategy, and knowledge of St. Camillus services, divisions, and related revenue sources.
  • They should also have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities to effectively work with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 8 years of senior leadership in long-term, post-acute care facilities, and a MHA degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The total compensation package for this position will be based on experience and market benchmarking.
