- Interpret and implement Allegheny County policies and procedures, advising providers and individuals on applicable regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports, ensuring timely and accurate data.
- Participate in meetings and facilitate discussions to drive policy and programmatic changes.
- Collaborate with behavioral health providers to resolve problem areas and implement corrective actions.
- Act as a liaison between provider agencies and state/county administrations, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Provide resources and support for complex situations, promoting problem resolution and quality improvement.
- Monitor provider agency allocations and complete incident reporting follow-ups.
- Develop and deliver training to behavioral health providers, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Assist in implementing new programs and quality improvement initiatives, driving positive change in mental health services.
- Participate in DHS/OBH committee meetings, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling privileged information.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience working in the behavioral health field.
- Possess Act 33 and 34 clearances, as well as a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle license and access to a personal vehicle for travel within Allegheny County.
- Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and data serving systems, and a deep understanding of the mental health system.
