Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Client and Design Leader to join our team at DLR Group in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of our integrated design team, you will be responsible for leading and growing client relationships and projects for our Industrial sector in Cleveland and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow client relationships and projects for our Industrial sector in Cleveland and surrounding areas.
  • Participate in the creation of buildings that elevate the human experience through design.
  • Discover new and untapped opportunities in the region, while maintaining close contact with clients during active projects.
  • Lead contract negotiations and educate clients on our design process.
  • Partner with project managers to ensure the financial health and successful execution of projects.
  • Work in partnership with the Workplace Regional Sector Leader and design professionals nationwide to lead the pursuit strategy, project award, and implementation of planning and design excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role for multiple Industrial projects.
  • At least 10 years of experience leading the pursuit, planning, and design of Industrial projects and a team of design professionals.
  • Keen understanding of the Industrial community and what is forefront in the minds of developers and clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices and regions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be an enthusiastic team player and leader.
  • Strong leadership skills with design teams, clients, and projects.
  • Ability to travel as the team and projects require.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEED Accreditation.
  • Professional Licensure.
