Cold Food Salad Preparation and Service Role

Morrison Healthcare, a leading national food and nutrition services company, is seeking a skilled Cold Food Salad Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality cold food items, including sandwiches, salads, and other delicatessen meats and cheeses.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from the workstation, stove, and refrigerator.
  • Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors in the preparation and serving areas.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with food preparation equipment and techniques is preferred.
  • Able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 25 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.

Compensation Package:

This part-time position offers an estimated salary of $21.75 per hour, providing a competitive compensation package that supports your career growth and financial stability.
