Sanitation Specialist

Volt Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Sanitor to join our team on the 3rd shift in Pomona, California.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. As a Production Sanitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe production environment, ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, and Food Quality regulations.

• Perform cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing machinery, and cleaning conveyors, surface areas, and other designated spaces.
• Disassemble and reassemble production equipment as necessary, using hot water and approved chemicals to safely clean and sanitize rooms, machinery, and other production equipment.
• Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and handling/use of all cleaning supplies, chemicals, and disinfecting equipment.
• Ensure inventory of all cleaning equipment and alert Supervisor when any supplies are needed.
• Comply with employee job safety requirements and regulations.

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in sanitation or a related field.
• Previous experience in food/beverage industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food sanitations (preferred).
• Bilingual – Spanish (preferred).
• Ability to work weekends/OT/Holidays when needed.
