About the Role

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a progressive unit setting. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

This role requires a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar setting, with a strong focus on interpersonal skills, technical abilities, and cognitive demands. You must be comfortable working under occasional close supervision or independently, and possess keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
  • Assist with procedures, such as transporting patients and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a progressive unit setting
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Ability to lift equipment (50-100 lbs) and push/pull while assisting with procedures
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with patients and healthcare teams
