Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Tahoe Forest Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, working closely with radiologists, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures, including screening, biopsy, and diagnostics
  • Work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Conduct daily operations of the department, including maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • ARRT, CRT certification for general radiography
  • Must possess current mammography certification in state of California and through A.R.R.T.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three plus years of experience as a mammography technologist
  • Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
Schedule Information

4x10's, ASAP start. Out clinic is open from 7am – 6pm, so these would be 10 hour shifts. No call for this position, and would support both Truckee and Incline Village (Weekly rotating basis). Days and weekends required to work. Minimum of one weekend day per week or more, depending on what we wind up doing for scheduling, as we ramp back up post pandemic.

For more information, please contact a recruiter at Medical Solutions. We use Hologic equipment and offer both 2D and 3D. Working with a team of 6 Radiologists and could occasionally work Saturdays. Saturdays are super rare but if we have an abundance of outstanding orders then we will open up a Saturday a few weeks out (they will know ahead of time).
