Electrophysiology Technician Cath Lab Full Time

DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in the Cath Lab. As a key member of our team, you will assist physicians in the Electrophysiology laboratory during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants.
Responsibilities- Perform all duties of an electrophysiology technician, including collection and interpretation of data.
- Operate various equipment needed to monitor blood pressure, oxygen level, electrocardiograms, pressure in chambers and vessels in the heart.
- Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and pacemaker follow-up in clinic, and operate all necessary equipment.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies, procedures, and objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Promote the values of DMC by demonstrating behaviors supportive of a commitment to quality, community welfare, respect and involvement, teamwork, open and effective communication, innovation and education, and efficient and effective resource use.
Graduate of an approved Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technician Program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. One to two years experience in the cardiology field, including performance measurement of intra-cardiac recordings and pacemaker analyses preferred.
