Currently, our Navy Aviation Division is in search of a driven, career-oriented Software Engineer to enhance our team. This role is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate user requirements; conceptualize system features and functionalities; design and develop user interfaces; determine design methodologies; execute programming tasks; and conduct testing.
  • Supervise the development of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications through to final deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Responsible for integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
  • Oversee the development cycle involved in creating resilient software, hardware, and web applications, encompassing specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Design, develop, support, and maintain the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of both hardware and software.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of one of the following: Security+, CASP+, CISSP, or an equivalent DoD IAT-2 or IAT-3 certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree with no experience OR Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma with 6 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 - 7 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with technical compliance controls, STIGs, or CIS.
  • Experience with scripting for Cisco devices.
  • Knowledge of Git repository management.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and printers.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about within the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,200-$100,200. Various factors can influence the final salary or hourly rate, including Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align with the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education, and certifications, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Additionally, ManTech invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
