Currently, our Navy Aviation Division is in search of a driven, career-focused Software Engineer to enhance our operations. This position is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing user needs; conceptualizing system features and functionalities; crafting and developing user interfaces; determining design methodologies; executing programming tasks; and conducting thorough testing.
  • Overseeing the development of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications through to final deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware components.
  • Managing the software, hardware, and web application development cycle, which includes specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
  • Designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of both hardware and software.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possession of one of the following: Security+, CASP+, CISSP, or an equivalent DoD IAT-2 or IAT-3 certification is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree with no experience, OR an Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience, OR a High School Diploma with 6 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with technical compliance controls, STIGs, or CIS.
  • Experience with scripting for Cisco devices.
  • Knowledge of Git repository management.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copiers and printers.
  • Must be able to remain stationary for at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move around the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $60,200-$100,200. Various factors can influence the final salary, including contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
