Aegis Worldwide is collaborating with a prominent manufacturer specializing in vinyl windows and patio doors within the Chicagoland region. The Maintenance Supervisor is expected to dedicate approximately 60-75% of their time to hands-on maintenance activities, while the remaining time will focus on upholding the preventative maintenance schedule and ensuring that technicians are actively engaged in their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems within the production facility.
  • Ensure that the maintenance team adheres to safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to mechanical (70%) and electrical (30%) issues.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous employment.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a preference for candidates with extensive backgrounds.
  • 1-2+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting, including systems up to 480-V, with a foundational understanding of PLCs.
