Direct Support Professional

Achieving True Self is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide exceptional support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in Westmoreland County, PA.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will provide one-on-one support, assistance with daily living tasks, and help clients develop skills necessary for independence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support services to clients in their homes or community-based settings
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as self-care, health and wellness, and home management
- Help clients develop skills necessary for independence, such as communication, mobility, and socialization
- Provide transportation for clients to attend community events, social appointments, and volunteer activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with proof of car insurance and good driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
