Job Summary:

As a Systems Administrator with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and security of our clients' computer systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and configuring systems, providing technical support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and configure systems, including desktop and server systems, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, including developing and implementing IT strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, including maintaining up-to-date security patches and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on enterprise IT.
  • Security+ certification or equivalent.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including NIST and HIPAA.
  • Experience with IT service management tools, including ServiceNow and JIRA.
