Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled VoIP Technician to join our team at Leader Communications Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for our VoIP network, including routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager suite, gateways, and Session Border Controllers.
  • Configure and manage VoIP infrastructure, including SIP trunks and associated telephone sets.
  • Perform database administration tasks, including software changes, upgrades, and firmware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot Voice of Secure Internet Protocol (VoIP) and other classified voice devices connected to the VoIP network.
Requirements
  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in administering and maintaining VoIP phone systems.
  • Current DoD 8140 certifications, such as Comptia Security+.
  • Valid Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Collaboration certification.
  • National Security background investigation required, Tier 3 clearance level.
Preferred Skills
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal and team skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
