As an HVAC/R Systems Technician, you will engage with a diverse range of HVAC/R systems for our industrial and commercial clientele. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC/R systems or equivalent education from a trade school or apprenticeship required
  • Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC/R or electrical systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency and initiative required
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment required
  • EPA HVAC/R certification is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED; or a combination of education and experience
  • Technical Certification in HVAC/R or Refrigeration is a plus
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, electrical schematics, and reading technical drawings is a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

Within the initial 30 days and ongoing:

· Familiarize yourself with C&L Refrigeration's core values, services, processes, and safety protocols.

· Complete orientation on safety policies, scheduling with the Dispatcher, and billing procedures.

· Learn to navigate the Ascente Mobile Pro software for job and customer documentation.

· Shadow experienced technicians for hands-on training across various job sites, gaining exposure to different tasks and equipment.

· Exhibit a learning mindset and eagerness to tackle diverse jobs daily.

· By 30 days, independently complete standard service maintenance on up to 1-ton equipment, interacting with customers and providing maintenance recommendations.

3 months and ongoing:

· Work independently, coordinating daily schedules with the Dispatcher and completing service calls across various job sites.

· Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations at each job, ensuring units are in optimal condition.

· Uphold rigorous safety standards while driving and at job sites.

· Deliver exceptional customer service by updating clients on maintenance and repair findings.

· Ensure your vehicle is stocked with necessary tools and understand the purchasing process for specific parts.

6 – 9 months and ongoing:

· Handle 5-15 ton units from start to finish, meticulously documenting all job efforts for customer review.

· Build strong relationships with clients by performing preventative maintenance and addressing potential concerns.

· Manage customer issues professionally, maintaining C&L Refrigeration's strong reputation.

12 months and ongoing:

· Be recognized as a knowledgeable problem solver, maintaining a strong reputation through quality service and communication.

· Demonstrate reliability and technical expertise while working on larger units, always prepared and prioritizing safety.

· Foster a team-oriented environment, assisting fellow technicians and training new hires.
