Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Inpatient Surgical Acute department. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Inpatient Surgical Acute department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- At least 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
