Elementary Education Speech Therapist in Vermont

Located in the charming town of Montpelier, this contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to work with young students in a supportive school district. Soliant has partnered with the local educational institution to provide contract services for the upcoming school year.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SLP to work with preschool and elementary students, focusing on speech and language development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and up-to-date knowledge of Vermont Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Therapy: Conduct assessments to identify children's speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions as needed.
- Caseload Management: Develop and maintain accurate records for assigned students, including progress reports and case management responsibilities.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators to address speech and language concerns, ensuring a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Vermont SLP license
- Education certificate, issued to SLPs practicing in school settings
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
