Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of firefighting equipment, including SCBA units, breathing air compressors, and related tools.
- Perform flow testing to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and complies with required standards.
- Adhere to guidelines set forth by manufacturers and regulatory bodies, including NFPA, NIOSH, and OSHA.
- Engage with fire departments and clients to review inspection outcomes and suggest necessary repairs or enhancements.
- Manage inventory effectively, ordering replacement parts and supplies as needed.
- Compile detailed reports outlining inspection results, repairs completed, and recommendations for improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding quotes, invoices, and service orders.
- Achieve production targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle, ensuring regular maintenance is performed.
- Analyze and oversee customer needs, both current and future, to enhance service delivery.
- This position requires travel within the designated service area, including potential overnight stays based on workload.
