We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Services Lead to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our respiratory therapy team, you will be responsible for leading assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in respiratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in respiratory services.
- Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
- Assign, monitor and review progress of work.
- Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
- Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
- May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
Requirements:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required: Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
