Job Title: Associate Lecturer

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Lecturer to join our team at Curry College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students with learning differences.

Job Summary:

The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students with specific learning disabilities, Attention Deficits, and/or Executive Function Challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strength-based, humanistic/holistic, developmental, and motivational approach to teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students with learning differences
  • Develop and implement metacognitive and transformational teaching and learning strategies
  • Assess and address current department needs and goals
  • Collaborate with faculty from diverse disciplines
  • Use assistive technology in educational settings
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with students with learning differences
  • Strong curriculum development and assessment skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Ability to use assistive technology in educational settings
