We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Lecturer to join our team at Curry College. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students with learning differences.
Job Summary:The Associate Lecturer will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students with specific learning disabilities, Attention Deficits, and/or Executive Function Challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strength-based, humanistic/holistic, developmental, and motivational approach to teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:- Teach and mentor students with learning differences
- Develop and implement metacognitive and transformational teaching and learning strategies
- Assess and address current department needs and goals
- Collaborate with faculty from diverse disciplines
- Use assistive technology in educational settings
- A master's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with students with learning differences
- Strong curriculum development and assessment skills
- Teaching experience in higher education
- Ability to use assistive technology in educational settings
