Job Opportunity: Associate Lecturers (PT), Sociology

The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Curry College is seeking part-time Associate Lecturers to teach in our undergraduate day program on our Milton campus and may be asked to teach in our undergraduate night programs on the Milton or Plymouth campuses.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in Sociology, including Race and Ethnicity and Intro to Sociology
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements:
  • A Master's Degree in Sociology is required
  • Ability to teach courses in Sociology
  • Must have the availability to teach during the day at the Milton campus
  • The department is seeking candidates with a strong history of effective teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Canvas LMS a plus
