Job Summary:

At Porter Hospital, we are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate a magnetic resonance scanner and obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in selecting appropriate imaging techniques and operating console and peripheral hardware. Key responsibilities include entering and monitoring patient data, transferring images from disk to magnetic media, and developing film in an automatic processor. This role requires a high degree of creativity and latitude, and the successful candidate will work under general supervision. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and will be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of Diagnostic Imaging.

Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited education program or equivalent. Diploma required. Certifications:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered in MRI Technology. Certified with the Indiana State Department of Health. CPR Certified. Experience:

Minimum one year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
