Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Porter Hospital, you will operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain high-quality images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. You will select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware to ensure accurate and efficient imaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies
Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware
Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor
Work under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Qualifications:

Education:
Graduate of JRCERT accredited education program or equivalent

Certifications:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Registered in MRI Technology, Certified with the Indiana State Department of Health, and CPR Certified

Experience:

Minimum:
One year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
