Job Summary

The Financial Coordinator I is a key member of the Revenue Operations team, responsible for building strong relationships with customers and internal partners. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients, physicians' offices, and internal departments
  • Collaborate with key team members to understand customer needs and urgency
  • Execute timely follow-up with customers to secure requested information
  • Accurately log communications and hand-offs in systems
  • Review accounts, understand current status, and communicate account needs clearly
  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with reimbursement-related requests
  • Ensure consistency across customer-facing functions
  • Identify opportunities for additional or improved services to meet unmet customer needs
  • Ensure all communications and interactions align with Novocure's patient-forward mission
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in healthcare or in a customer-facing role
  • Familiarity with basic medical and insurance terminology preferred
  • Experience working with CRM and documentation management systems preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated excellence in meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effectiveness in de-escalating and resolving difficult situations
  • Ability to solve problems and set priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced office setting
