Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As part of your role, you will be tasked with the following:
  • Procurement: Develop and maintain a detailed submittal and procurement log.
    Ensure accuracy in fixture counts and vendor Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget maintenance, forecasting, and Work In Progress (WIP) throughout the project lifecycle.
    Identify financial impacts and take appropriate actions or document accordingly.
  • Productivity Tracking: Maintain productivity records for field operations.
    Regularly meet with field leadership to assess progress and resolve production challenges.
  • Safety Oversight: Establish and enforce site-specific safety protocols and plans.
  • Scheduling: Analyze contract schedules critically, advocating against unrealistic timelines.
    Assist in workforce projections and ensure the development of lookahead schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with field leadership to tackle installation challenges.
    Design layouts for intricate installations and engage in BIM coordination.
  • Document Management: Organize and manage electronic file systems to ensure information is current and accessible.
    Effectively coordinate submittals and closeout documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate closely with management and analysts to drive project success.
    Delegate tasks based on expertise and time constraints while fostering strong relationships with general contractors.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in the commercial electrical sector.
Preferred Certifications:
PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or similar project management credentials.
Valid Driver's License.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive experience in the commercial electrical field with a solid understanding of electrical systems and installations.
Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and bid documents.
Proficient in Procore, NetSuite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
