Job Description: Clinical Nurse Educator

Location: Presbyterian Medical Center--Charlotte, NC

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year

This role involves developing and deploying standardized education and training based on nursing process and practice. The Clinical Nurse Educator works closely with healthcare professionals to create and implement educational programs that promote excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement education programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and deliver evidence-based practice changes
  3. Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement
  4. Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for future improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in critical care; experience in education or leadership roles a plus
  • Current RN license in NC; certification in relevant specialty within 6 months of hire
