Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
  • Engage with customers by learning their names and preferences.
  • Support customers by providing assistance with product inquiries and fulfilling their requests.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing helpful information and taking orders as needed.
  • Process customer orders at the Market Grille counter.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
  • Review daily orders and ensure food safety practices are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Monitor food freshness and prepare items as required.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when operating registers.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and dress code standards.
  • Follow company policies and store guidelines diligently.
  • Punctually report to work as scheduled.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with dishwashing and kitchen maintenance as necessary.
  • Order supplies when needed.
  • Price products for customer visibility.
  • Deliver orders as required.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Complete other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow simple instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Education and Experience:

No formal education required; prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
  • Visual acuity to perform tasks that require close vision.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.

Work Environment:

This position is typically performed in a retail store setting, which may involve exposure to noise, cleaning chemicals, and varying temperatures.
