The Rochester Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team in the Department of Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting research projects in the area of wireless communications and information theory, with a particular focus on applications of machine learning in communications; spectrum sharing/coexistence; and joint communications and sensing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct independent research and collaborate with senior researchers on multi-disciplinary projects
- Develop and implement novel research methods and techniques
- Disseminate research results through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and conferences
- Train and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Assist in the development of grant proposals and research funding applications
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong background in wireless communications and information theory
- Experience with machine learning and signal processing techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
