Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with subacute experience to join our team at Longwood Manor Convalescent Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care for residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Transport residents to dining areas for meals and activities.
  • Perform and document patient rounds, reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Provide companionship and excellent care to patients.
  • Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
  • Properly lift and transition residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
Requirements
  • Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program.
  • Minimum one (1) year of subacute experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster(s).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Compassion towards residents and their families.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a 4/2 schedule, AM/PM/NOC only.

Compensation

$20 to $23 per hour, depending on factors such as location, work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
