Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Vighter Medical Group. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist patients with activities of daily living, take and record patient vital signs, and provide patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Take and record patient vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure).
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
  • Assist with medical procedures and treatments, as directed by the clinical team.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nursing staff or healthcare provider.
  • Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transferring, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely using VA and Vighter electronic medical records.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted CNA certification.
  • Current BLS certification required through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
