Job Summary

DFA Dairy Brands St. George is seeking a skilled Controls/Maintenance Technician to ensure the continued operation of machinery and equipment in an electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic, and hydraulic capacity. This role involves completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

About the Role

This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of our production assets, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and contributing to the success of our dairy products. As a Controls/Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with our team to identify and resolve maintenance issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and implement preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks
  • Document maintenance activities, including work orders and maintenance records

Requirements
