Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a Surgical Specialist to support our multidisciplinary healthcare team in clinical functions while fostering a safe and compassionate environment for patients. The Surgical Specialist will collaborate closely with the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Exhibit knowledge and application of sterile techniques, instruments, and supplies required for surgical cases.
  • Engage in patient care activities in direct collaboration with the RN.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduate from a vocational school.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) or Surgical Assistant (CSA).
