About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, including setting up and sterilizing equipment and supplies.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, passing instruments and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good working order.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all procedures are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
Requirements:
- Accredited Program: Surgical Technologist (Required)
- BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
- One (1) year of experience in a surgical setting
- Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred
