Our Mission

At LJV Development, we provide our employees with the tools and time they need to grow significantly. As an apprentice with our company, you will be directly involved in day-to-day operations, working with a supervisor and a team that will assist you in understanding the ins and outs of the projects we work on.

Our apprentice program allows you to be a part of a collaborative effort that resolves our clients' most difficult issues. Our program is designed to offer you the tools and experience you need to create a successful career with the assistance and advice of higher management.

Our Services

LJV Development is engaged by both private and public sector clients to oversee and lead a range of building projects from concept and initial design through all phases of construction to completion. As such, we are responsible for setting and keeping schedules, monitoring project finances, and ensuring that all specialist trades are executing their specific duties when and how they should, all while establishing and enforcing protocols to maintain a work site devoid of safety hazards.

The Role

LJV Development is working with the Rising Star's to provide a variety of jobs and responsibilities to help propel your career in the construction industry. We're seeking a self-motivated, determined individual that wants to learn and grow in the construction field.

Your responsibilities may range from being on-site aiding our Project Management team with project execution to working behind the scenes with our Business Development team.

Our Teams

We have three main teams: Project Management, Business Development, and Operations.

Project Management: Our Project Management team ensures that all our projects are executed on time and as expected. Our team includes jobs such as project executives, project managers, superintendents, architects, and engineers.

Business Development: Our Business Development team takes on an important role for LJV Development. Business Development oversees the planning and scheduling for our company. Along with this, our business development team manages the handling of tasks such as marketing, IT, and our overall communications. Business Development is also in charge of our firm's sales. With sales comes customer relations, which is a crucial component of keeping our company going.

Operations: Our operations team is involved with keeping our company as efficient as possible. Operations handle the inner working of our company to ensure that it's ran as effectively as it can. Jobs such as human resources, and operations analyst are an example of what our operations team is about.

Requirements
  • Must be a member or graduate of The Rising Star's (Boston).
  • Possess effective oral, presentational, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate understanding of construction process from project inception to completion.
  • Organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel, Microsoft Project, Outlook).
