Sheetmetal Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheetmetal Instructor to join our team at General Dynamics Electric Boat. As a Sheetmetal Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and training students in the art of sheetmetal work, including fabrication, assembly, and repair.

• Instruct students in sheetmetal techniques and procedures
• Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Conduct hands-on training and demonstrations
• Develop and maintain training materials and resources

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of sheetmetal experience
• Minimum 2 years of Electric Boat experience
• Ability to climb a ladder and don a safety harness
• Ability to travel throughout the facility

• Prior teaching experience
• Nuclear trade experience
• Associates degree
