  • Verify the physical existence of collateral and assess borrowers' records to ensure compliance with approved loan structures.
  • Follow guidance from supervisors to provide accurate responses to customer inquiries and resolve disputes.
  • Utilize judgment to identify discrepancies and address any variances.
  • Evaluate the condition of collateral and report findings promptly to confirm the secured position.
  • Work collaboratively with peers and management to resolve issues and meet objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in Collateral Examination or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid understanding of business practices and processes.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and lift 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation for daily business travel.
  • Must meet the requirements of applicable regulations.
