Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

FeldCare Connects is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality home healthcare services to patients of all ages.
This is an independent contractor opportunity to serve the Weatherford area specifically.

The Physical Therapy Assistant in Home Health is responsible for patient care needs related to mobility, pain reduction, function restoration, and disability prevention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing services defined by state laws governing Physical Therapy Assistant practice, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with the healthcare team
- Assisting patients in using therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety
- Observing, recording, and reporting patient response to treatment and changes to patient condition
- Instructing patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team in therapy areas where they can participate in assisting the patient
Qualifications:
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
- Physical Therapy Assistant license and registration by the state
- Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, The Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association
- Bilingual is a plus
