Job Overview
PacifiCorp is a leading electric utility company seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Transmission & Distribution Training Manager. This position will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with transmission and distribution training requirements and standards, while delivering organizational objectives for all positions within Power Delivery / T&D Operations.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of utility craft-based apprenticeship program requirements and standards, as well as experience in developing a training program for an electric utility operational organization. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult and resolve internal and external customer issues. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects between cross-functional areas, including represented and non-represented personnel. They will also lead the development and implementation of processes and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and administer training programs using various methods, including classroom training, web-based training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  • Analyze, recommend, and/or implement new training programs and improvements to existing procedures where they are interdependent.
  • Coordinate training development with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
  • Design training manuals, computer-based training, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Maintain database and compliance documentation and reporting as required.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of seven years' experience in training, program, or project management in the utility power delivery business is also required. In addition, the selected candidate should have strong leadership and teamwork skills to develop and promote cooperative working relationships within and among departments. Travel up to 20% of the time may be necessary for this position.

Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $115,900 to $136,300 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15% of salary.
