About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at Covenant Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the sterile field and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the operating room sterile field and ensure proper aseptic technique is utilized to prevent contamination and infection.
  • Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, and assist the registered nurse with circulating duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Previous OR training or experience is a plus.
