Role Overview
The Nursing Manager for ICU and PCU will be responsible for leading the critical care units at eCommunity Health Network. This role is pivotal in achieving departmental objectives by fostering collaborative relationships among team members, physicians, and the broader healthcare network, all while aligning with the core values and mission of eCommunity. The Manager will play a crucial role in delivering superior service, maintaining clinical excellence, and enhancing patient satisfaction through effective staff engagement and physician interactions. This position also involves ensuring that staff assignments are appropriate, reflecting the necessary skills, patient needs, and care levels.

Key Responsibilities
The Nursing Manager will utilize evidence-based methodologies to optimize patient care, leading to improved clinical outcomes and heightened patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily operations of the ICU and PCU.
  • Implementing performance improvement strategies.
  • Managing departmental budgets and resources effectively.
  • Facilitating team collaboration and communication.
  • Ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The following qualifications are required:
  • A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
  • At least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Preferred experience in ICU and/or PCU settings.
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree required within a specified timeframe.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Certification in a relevant specialty or Nursing Administration within a designated period.
  • Proficiency in performance improvement practices.
  • Ability to manage financial resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of organizational goals and change management.
