Sun Auto Tire & Service is a reputable automotive service provider with over 20 years of experience in delivering high-quality services to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team of industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Repair Vehicles: Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and Sun Auto standards.
- Perform Multi-point Inspections: Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with Customers: Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including the Store Manager, Service Consultants, and customers.
- Recommend Services: Recommend services that are necessary to keep the customer's vehicle in running condition and properly document all recommendations in the customer file.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Maintain Certifications: Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
