Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and direct rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
    • Develop and implement clinical programs and services to meet the needs of our residents.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to therapy service delivery.
  • Clinical Services
    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for residents.
    • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of therapy programs.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Communicate effectively with community staff, home health staff, hospice staff, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Represent HealthPRO Heritage in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Quality Improvement and Compliance
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of therapy programs.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in regular audits and evaluations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Associate's degree in an allied health field, or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation management or leadership role.
  • Licensure and Certification
    • Valid state professional licensure as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
