Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and direct rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
- Develop and implement clinical programs and services to meet the needs of our residents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to therapy service delivery.
- Clinical Services
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for residents.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of therapy programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Communication and Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with community staff, home health staff, hospice staff, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Represent HealthPRO Heritage in a professional and courteous manner.
- Quality Improvement and Compliance
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of therapy programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Participate in regular audits and evaluations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation.
- Education
- Associate's degree in an allied health field, or a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation management or leadership role.
- Licensure and Certification
- Valid state professional licensure as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
