Job Summary

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach College Success courses at Olympic College. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities
  • Teach College Success courses, including College Success 110, in accordance with college catalog, schedule of classes, course outlines, and departmental guidelines.
  • Provide quality teaching, including related preparation and grading.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of students and complete forms as required.
  • May include evening instruction and/or instruction at satellite campuses.
  • May be asked to teach in-person, hybrid, and/or online courses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • College-level teaching experience is desired.
Requirements
  • Impart enthusiasm and excitement towards course content and the educational experience.
  • Utilize alternative teaching methods and modalities to engage and meet the educational needs of diverse student populations.
  • Incorporate technology to support instruction and facilitate student success.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teaching diverse students with various education, age, and language backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate an appreciation of diversity and cultural awareness in the workplace.
Additional Information

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary listed is a range based on per quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department.
