About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of music therapy operations and services to maximize patient wellness.
  • Provide music therapy to patients in various settings, including hospitals and hospice care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement music therapy plans.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Music or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • MT-BC Certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) or equivalent.
  • 5 years of clinical experience in hospital-based settings (guided imagery, pain management, grant writing, and research experience preferred).
  • CPR/BLS certification.
