Music Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement music therapy operations and services that align with our mission and vision.
• Provide music therapy sessions to patients to maximize their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement music therapy plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Conduct music therapy sessions in various settings, including hospitals, hospices, and patient homes.

Requirements:

• MT-BC Certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT), preferred.
• CPR/BLS, required.
• 5 years clinical experience with hospital-based experience, preferred.
• Bachelor Degree Music (preferred).
• Masters Degree in Music Therapy, preferred.

Work Environment:

This role will work day shifts with the occasional Saturdays for events. You will have the opportunity to play at events at La Plata and Archuleta counties, Mercy Hospital, Mercy Hospice House, and hospice patient home settings.

Pay Range: $34.48/hour
