Job Title: Art/Recreational Therapist

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Art/Recreational Therapist to join our team at Wellstone Regional Hospital. As a part-time Art/Rec Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patient needs and formulating treatment programs in accordance with physician treatment orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer treatment programs to achieve patient goals and improve quality of life
  • Provide group therapy sessions for inpatient mental health patients
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field
  • Eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the National Council on Therapeutic Recreation Certification
  • Experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting preferred
  • CPR and CPI certification required
